As well as, to carry out research, reports, studies and/or projects with the purpose of identifying sales, opportunities and/or solutions to overcome technical, infrastructure, economic and/or regulatory barriers that limit the adoption of electric vehicles and related technologies.
One of the most important priorities of EMA is the commitment to privacy and protection of the processing of the personal data it collects from its Data Controllers. Therefore, EMA makes this Privacy Notice (the “Privacy Notice”) available to the Data Controllers, which is a commitment that regulates the processing of their personal data (including its collection, use, disclosure or storage) by any means in order to guarantee their privacy and the right to informational self-determination. By virtue of the foregoing, EMA will take the necessary and sufficient measures in accordance with the Law to ensure that this Privacy Notice is complied with at all times by EMA itself or by third parties with whom it has a legal relationship.
2. Collection of personal data.
EMA obtains personal data, which it treats in accordance with this Privacy Notice, in the following ways: (i) when the Data Controllers provide it to us directly by any means; (ii) when they visit our website; and (iii) when we obtain information through other sources that are permitted by law.

4. Purposes
The information that EMA collects from Data Subjects will be used for the following purposes:

5. Consent.
The Data Subject grants EMA his or her consent so that the information he or she has provided to EMA may be processed in accordance with this Privacy Notice and the applicable legal provisions. Likewise, the Data Subject grants EMA the right to obtain, use (use may include any action of access, handling, use, transfer or disposal of personal data), disclose or store his/her personal data by the means that EMA deems appropriate, for as long as necessary, subject to the limits established by law, in order to meet the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice and to comply with the legal provisions applicable to EMA or the Data Subjects themselves.
6. Transfers of personal data.
By means of this Privacy Notice, EMA informs the Data Controllers that their personal data may be transferred and processed within and outside the country, to persons other than EMA. Such transfers may be made to persons who are not related parties of EMA, as well as to various civil associations in different parts of the world for the purpose of sharing relevant information in accordance with the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice, which will be informed about the limitations and purposes of this Privacy Notice.
Notwithstanding the provisions of this clause or any other clause of this Privacy Notice, the Data Subject acknowledges and accepts that EMA does not require authorization or confirmation from such Data Subject to make national or international transfers of personal data in the cases provided for in Article 37 of the Law or in any other case of exception provided for in the Law, its Regulations or the Guidelines. In turn, EMA will transfer personal data when requested by governmental authorities by means of a duly grounded and motivated request, or by any court order issued by any competent judicial authority.
If, in your capacity as Data Subject, you do not express your opposition to the transfer of your personal data, it will be understood that from this moment you authorize it and that you have also given your consent to do so.
7. Principles.
EMA undertakes to take the necessary measures to ensure that the processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the principles of legality, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality and responsibility established by Law. Likewise, EMA undertakes to keep the personal data contained in its databases accurate, in such a way that they are pertinent, correct and updated for the purposes for which they were collected, and to treat them in the manner that is necessary, adequate and relevant in relation to the purposes set forth herein and as agreed in this Privacy Notice.
The time that EMA will keep the personal data it collects will be the time necessary to comply with the purposes of this Privacy Notice and the obligations that EMA has contracted with the Holders of such personal data.
8. Security measures.
EMA maintains and will adopt the necessary administrative, physical and technical security measures, actions, procedures and mechanisms that are necessary to protect the interests of the Holder and guarantee the due treatment and protection of the personal data it collects, in the same way that it safeguards its own.

10. Modifications to the Privacy Notice.

These modifications will be available to the public through EMA’s web page in the section “Legal Notices” and/or “Privacy Notice” or, if applicable, will be circulated to the last e-mail address provided by the Data Subject.
