JAC was founded in China in 1964. It is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and has a presence in more than 100 countries. Its structure consists of 13 manufacturing plants, 3 research and development centers in Turin, Italy; Tokyo, Japan; and Hefei, China. In Mexico, JAC is the automotive brand assembled and marketed by Giant Motors Latin America, a 100% Mexican company with more than 16 years of history in the automotive industry and with an assembly plant in Ciudad Sahagún, Hidalgo. JAC currently markets 4 lines of vehicles in Mexico: 1. Passengers, with the complete line of SUVs Sei2, Sei4 Pro, Sei6 Pro and Sei7 Pro; the JAC J7 liftback; 2. Pickups: A complete line with the full range of Frison T6, T8 and T8 Diesel 4×4 and T9 AT 4×4 2. JAC Pure Electric, with the 100% electric models, E10X, E J7, E Sei4 Pro, as well as the commercial vehicles E 10X Cargo, E Sunray and E X450 3. Commercial vehicles, with the models X200 and X350, x12000, K7, as well as Sunray Cargo and Sunray Passengers.
